I own a Swift 3 with SK Hynix SC308 256 GB M.2 2280 SATA SSD (hfs256g39tnd-n210a), i wanted to upgrade it to a 500 GB and I bought a Sabrent SSD 512GB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2280, I cloned my hard drive with True Image and even if I am able to boot this new SSD from an external USB when I replace the SK Hynix, my laptop won't boot, even if I disable secure boot from BIOS. Anyone can help? thanks

    Hi,
Do you still have the original image on Hynix? If so, you could try installing the Sabrent in the slot where you have the hynix now, put the Hynix in the external USB and boot with it(Hynix) and migrate the contents of it to Sabrent.
But make sure that you have the original image still intact in Hynix, I don't want you to loose your OS and data. If possible use another program to migrate from Hynix to Sabrent, will you be able to use Minitool partition wizard free? If you are willing please let me know.

Often when cloning to a different size the cloning software adjusts all partition sizes proportionally. That resizes the two partition that can't be resized, the system reserved UEFI partition and the small recovery partition. You typically have to redo the clone with partition sizes left alone or clone with only allowing the C: partition to resize.
