Low Audio after updating to Win 10-1903

Hello Guys

I have Predator Helios 300 laptop
i5-8300h
8gb ram (upgraded to 16gb)
Gtx 1050ti

Realtek audio drivers(oct 2018 ver 6.0.1.xxxx don't remember exactly) + Dolby in built

Couple of weeks back got the win 10 1903 update and ever since that the audio in games has been too low
(eg. in PUBG the sound of footsteps is bearly audible even at high volume but then gun shots sound too loud)

Prior to the update the volume was so clear, with headphones I would get crisp clear sounds at level 4/6 and have never had the need to go above it...

Also in general volume levels for youtube videos in chrome have to be set at 12-15 for basic audibility unlike 4-6 earlier

I searched & it ws an issue caused by the update which everyone faced while gaming which was eventually microsoft fixed by a recent update.. However it didnt get fixed in my case...

I tried several fixes like
Updating audio drivers (auto + manual)
Uninstalled & reinstalled
Set all equaliser frequencies in Dolby on max but no change
Troubleshoot options

On the realtek website too i couldn't figure out clearly what is the latest applicable driver for win 10 1903 if any..
Also on the Acer predator support page the driver is still the old factory version...

The low audio is v frustrating and annoying making the games unplayable altogether

I am sure some of you would have got this issue after the update and would have resolved it as well

Kindly help
Would be deeply grateful

PS: I cannot rollback to previous windows since I deleted the same to free up space from my ssd

sdt16 well all i can say is welcome to win10 1903 any reason why you updated were you having any issues with your previous windows if not you should had stayed in the previous one even if they tried to force you to update it was your choice not them because now even if you try to get back to acer stock OS ALT+F10 on boot it will not let you go back to the stock windows as 1903 rewrites the acer stock recovery to 1903 at the same time it updates so no one can go back to any older version via recovery only clean install via windows usb drive and by loosing acer stock permanently if you can't/dont want to go back just buy FX enhancer to boost up your sound  but if it was me i would probably clean install it to an older version like 1809 because 1803 is loosing support in a few months if youre one of those who cares about security updates me in the other way i still use win XP/7 on all my older machines and as long as you have a good antivirus/antispyware nothing to worry about so the words loosing ms security updates do not mean much to me because that doesnt make the OS unusable also on all the OS i use including 10 1809 i have the updates completely disabled :p

    Legendary Sir Opoka Opoko
Its a priviledge to get a reply from you...Thanx and Cheers!!

Although I was keen on the 1903 for the dark mode and in general thinking the update may be better as the older 1803 would cease to get support, but never tried a force install, instead waited for it to roll out...

My Q is whether the clean install can resolve the driver issues, because off late while researching on various forums didnt find any such issue after microsoft fixed it with an update on 26th Sept or so...

I know microsoft patches are buggy initially while they get rolled out but felt they eventually fix it alongwith some improvements in OS efficiency as time passes by...Never thought that despite the later fix it would not resolve my issue...

Regarding Buying any audio enhancer, I am not too keen and moreover, I fear it may not be allowed by the Anticheat in games like PUBG etc

I am too fussy as to getting that same sound level as before the update hence despite the clean install being the last thing I would like to do, I may have to do...Lol

On a further not a noob Q is since Win 10 is on the SSD, whethr the clean install or reset will affect the separate HDD ( and thus letting me avoid taking backup of data on that HDD)

Another Q is what is the better way
    - Reset PC from settings (whether "keep files" will resolve the audio driver issue or should I select "remove everything")

    - Clean install from USB (Is there any specific procedure / steps to keep in mind in case of Helios 300 due to the sepcific unique BIOS )

    Many thanx

sdt16 the audio software enhancer has nothing to do with games software its completely apart will not interfere with anything also you can try it first before to see if youre happy with the results or not :)

clean install from usb you have to download the windows image from the version you want to install burn it as bootable (uefi gpt mode) device using rufus for ex then set a suprvidor password in the bios disable secure boot boot from the usb and install after enable secure boot and disable the supervisor password

What's your Windows 10 build number? Like mine is 18362.418 and I have no sound issues on my G3-572 maybe cuz I manually updated my Audio driver to newer one from last month.
Trying to do my best here - Your happy Predator owner =)!
