[Predator Helios 300] Battery problems

Hello,

I'm creating this topic because I've been having some problems with my computer as of late.
Around 2 months ago, my computer stopped working if it was not plugged in for 5 minutes. As I mostly use it when plugged, I paid it no mind and didn't really care...
Since yesterday, I don't have that problem anymore. However, I got another one which is much more annoying to me. The battery won't charge to more than around 87% (yesterday it was 95%, but I tried to calibrate the battery since then and I guess it lowered the maximum battery charge?..). What is annoying with that is the constant noise signaling that "it's unplugged - it's plugged". Which is, well, wrong to say the least, as it's always plugged. But every 30 seconds or so, it will charge to 88%, consider it's charged to the max, and consider itself as "unplugged". The battery level drops to 87% percent, before considering once again that the computer is "plugged in" and start charging back up to 88%.
What's annoying is mostly the sound, so I cut it. However, the computer also flashes to "preserve energy" I guess?.. So every 30 seconds, my screen becomes too bright for about 4 seconds before going back to being dark. Which also makes the screen lag for a bit, which is troublesome when playing games, but also when trying to simply use the computer without having your eyes hurt.

So if it has happened to anyone, I would very much like to know how you solved the problem. First of all, is there a way to stop this "screen flashing" thing? I know it wouldn't solve the problem, but at least I could use my computer.
Also, is there another way to solve the problem than by having it repaired?

Thanks in advance

Dainsleif well i have some suggestions you can try that might work/or not firstly (depending on your model if its a 2019 probably will not have it this feature) perform a battery power drain uninstall the acpi driver shutdown disconnect from AC press/hold the battery pinhole switch under the laptop for 30s let the laptop rest for 2/3h then boot into bios reset to default settings boot it up and let windows install the acpi driver again let it charge and see if the battery charges to 100% of still not charging check your battery report for wear or get battery bar pro to follow your battery wear in realtime
