I bought my laptop in July'19. When I connect my laptop to my home Wi-Fi, it works fine for few minutes and then it disconnects from the Wi-Fi network. I then, reboot my Wi-Fi router and connect my laptop with the network. It works fine for few minutes and then again disconnects.

Point to note: When the laptop disconnects, the signal from the router also disappear (meaning, when i am using my laptop and phone at the same time, the phone also disconnects from the Wi-Fi signal). This problem does not happens when I am using my other laptop. The technician has checked the router & confirmed it is all good.

Also, my Acer laptop does not creates the same Wi-Fi problem when connected with the mobile hotspot.

Please help.

    Hi,

    Kindly follow the details below...

Can you right click on the adapter in device manager and uninstall the adapter and restart the computer to see if that helps?

Press and hold the window key and click on x

You will see a menu with a list of items.

    click on Device Manager

Go to Network Adapters.   Expand it

Right click on wireless adapter - click on uninstall

    Restart your computer.

Wait for  little bit of time and the wireless driver will be installed automatically.

Connect to wireless and check how it is working..

If it doesn't, try downloading and installing the Win 10 wireless driver from http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers.
