acer aspire 3 fix

i closed my laptop before i went to bed, when i woke up and wanted to use it nothing happened. i can turn it on and off,the lights go on, but nothing happens. screen stays black and when i put in charger cable it makes a beeping noise. what can i do to fix

Hi, sorry to hear it. Kindly try to do power drain on the unit and check.

Power Drain

1)Unplug the AC power adapter.

2)Press and hold the Power button down until the unit goes off. 

3)Search for a pinhole that has a battery symbol next to it on the backside of your laptop, insert a small paperclip in the battery reset pinhole, press and hold it down for 25 seconds. Then release the paperclip and try to turn on the unit and check.

If this does not work try out a different wall socket or try swapping power cables with monitor power cable to see if the power cable is bad.
