So I got this laptop from a friend and it was already basically on its death bed but when you dont have anything else you work with what you got :b So it all started about 2 months ago or so, I was playing MXL on the laptop and it died. Well Of course with my levels of stupidity I just plug in the not so tight fitting charger and just try to play again. That was my only concern and tbh that was kind of biggest mistake imo. The laptop immediately went into the automatic repair function during start up. As I slide off the laptop from my lap it disconnected and shut down the computer once more. This time my computer wont start. It gets to the acer logo and sits there. Fast forward a little bit, I find out my old Hard drive was labled a Windows Transfer System or something along those lines, not entirely sure if I'm being honest. Well I bought a new HDD and a new USB Board so I can actually use usbs to install windows. So with everything installed, and it seems to be installed correctly.. I however can't access the BIOS, or the boot menu.
I would greatly appreciate any input on this matter.
