Hello,

I have got a new 2019 editon Predator Helios 300.

I installed POPos on second HDD and now when I am trying to enter BIOS settings by pressing F2 at startup, I see a black screen with cursor on top left and nothing happens after that.

Laptop boots normally to Windows, though.

Can any one help understanding the issue, please?

Okay, so I was able to solve this issue by reflashing my BIOS. It had latest BIOS and BIOS update utility was refusing to reflash it.

So I went ahead and extracted the .exe with Winrar and found Insyde BIOS .FD firmware file and a setup configuration file (platform.ini) which had `PlatformVersion` flag enabled. I disabled the flag by setting it's value to 0 and BINGO! the firware update utility reflashed my BIOS and I can now enter BIOS using F2.

A big thanks to everyone who participated in this thread to help me. Thank you again!
