What are you trying to boot?

Make sure you enable the F12 boot menu in the BIOS settings.

    https://au.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6814/related/1

If you're trying to boot a compatible Windows 10 USB, then you can download the iso using the Microsoft Media Creation tool.  And then use rufus to create a bootable USB.        GPT, UEFI (non CSM), FAT32

    Same settings with Linux.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you want to actually create the Windows 10 USB using the microsoft media creation tool instead of rufus, and you're using a different PC to create the USB media, then you should select "install on another PC" when the media creation tool prompts you.

If you're going to try to boot something other than windows, you'll probably need to temporarily disable secure boot. At least until you can add the proper file to the trusted secure boot settings.   You'll need to create a supervisor password if you want to disable secure boot.

If you want to change the boot order, then you use the F6 key as described in link below.

If your BIOS supports, switch to legacy boot mode to be able to boot up into any kind of device. Remember though, Legacy is less secure compared to UEFI (not really an issue unless you have secret data or use it for work).

Did you use the Microsoft Windows Media Creation Tool to create the bootable USB? This is the only way you can boot up a windows OS bootable USB drive when BIOS is on Secure Boot/UEFI.

Yes, you have to insert your Windows 10 USB drive in to one of the USB ports in order for your UEFI to recognize it.

Try Alt+F10 at boot.  See video below.

If you want to create a UEFI compatible, bootable Windows 10 USB drive, then go back and take some time and read over my first post.  I gave you a lot of info there to digest.

Yes, you'll lose your original Acer OEM Windows 10 if you install the vanilla Windows 10 from the USB drive.

If you want to try to reset your PC instead, then watch the video below.

obrovac33 if you dont want to loose your Acer customized stock windows you have to clone your drive into another one before you format it to keel the recovery partition intact i would try a stock recovery first as it was already suggested above (ALT+F10 on boot and delete everything option) before you move to format your drive completely but its up to you :)
