Hello,
I had Acer Aspire VN7-791G-78Y8 for a few years now and I am stuck with the slow 1TB 5400rpm HDD that came with the laptop. So my plan is to add this SSD: 860 EVO M.2 SATA SSD 500GB SATA III, but I want to keep my 1TB 5400rpm HDD and add the SSD for Windows OS. Checking my laptop specs it says "Total Hard Drive Capacity: 1 TB", I hope that's not an issue.
So my question is whether I can use 860 EVO M.2 SSD SATA III (I'm pretty sure I can't use nvme since HWiNFO shows my PCI Express version is 2.0 and Maximum Link Width: 1x, but not sure if it supports SATA III) alongside my current 1TB HDD and if my laptop supports M.2 SATA III SSD?
Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for taking your time to reply, so judging from the image you provided it only supports 128/256 GB SSD and does not support 500GB?
