process system isn't responding

basically if you own a chromebook and you loaded "apps";  eventually one will cause a stir within the system and create the error.  I figured that out having bought my machine 2 1/2 years ago; but not having added any apps in that time knowing something might happen. Long story short; suspicion confirmed.  The minute I did; the error message appeared; it was a city public transportation app. pay for local commute fares by app instead of cash or cards. I wanted to keep the app both on my phone and laptop in case one or the other (laptop/cellphone) didn't function. I had assumed the error message would somehow go away with my system continually getting software/op-system updates. Moral to the story? Keep your system free and clear; use nothing but the most basic pre-installed programs and you'll live a stress free life.
