Acer Iconia on Windows 10 cannot register device

I have logged in with a Microsoft account
I go to the Windows app store which says I have no registered device
I go to device management with same account on login.live.com and see my Xbox etc but no tablet
i follow the troubleshooting guide and all it tells me to do is sign in, which i did

I am going around in circles, i have searched without success, can anyone pls help?

    Journeyman, your problem seems to be with Microsoft, not with Acer. Are you trying to register your computer with Acer for warranty support? That's different than configuring your XBox account or your Windows account.
