Dear Acer community.
I decided to change the fans of my trusty Acer v 15 Nitro.
To my surprise i found an empty 2.5 slot in the computer.
My computer is currently running on a SSD.
I wish to add a mechanic harddrive to the 2.5 slot however i can't seem to find any power cable.
This is the first time I open up a laptop.
Any suggestions?

Thank you

    Hello,
Could you give me the first ten characters of the laptop serial number (S/N)?

    Hi @Themed,
Image result for nitro v 15 caddy

Is the unit under the warranty? you will get a caddy kit from acer if you call them. Also not all caddy will have power cable. just an example for you. pls provide the complete model number of the unit and we can help you out on it.

Thank you both for the fast reply.
NXMUVED055 would be the first 10 characters of the serial number.
It seems my computer does not have the above mentioned cable.
All I see is a small pin called HDD1 next to the TPAD1 pin on the motherboard.
From the looks of the above caddy kit, i would guess it would fit that pin.
However I'm assuming a harddrive would also need a power pin?
