Have an Acer Aspire E17 which has been off from charger about 8 months. Now it seems that the battery does not charge nor the power turn on. What can I do?

    Hi paulas
.Please try this last step to make sure if its a hardware issue.
    1)Remove the charger.
2)Press and hold the power button to make sure that all lights are off.
    3) Now turn around the laptop and have a look at the bottom panel of the laptop.
    4) Look for a tiny pin hole with a battery sign drawn on the side of it. Please get a pin or a thin paper clip. Press and hold it down with a little pressure in the pin hole for 30 seconds.
    5) Then connect the charger and try to turn it on. If it still does not boot up or even show the acer logo, it means there is a hardware issue.
You need replace the battery. If Your Planing to buy new battery please click on the Link:-https://store.acer.com/index.html
