Just got the predator helios 300 2018 model and i have a big problem

So when ever i plug anything to the laptop it gives a static electric charge on the outer chassi of the device , i tried everything from earthing and things like that and it didnt fix the problem, what i want to ask is does this static electricity harm the device ? And if so what can i do more ?

That is normal. That is what called coil whine. Mine also the same....don't worry.

This is NOT normal - none of my laptops ever had this issue (I owned atleast half a dozen so far, not counting the work laptops).

Also, coil whine, on a pure technical level, refers to an undesirable noise emitted by an electronic component vibrating as power runs through an electrical cable. This does not cause static electricity.

Check with Acer support if its still under warranty.

YazanBh im guessing either bad earthing or the adapter has some issues or the third option you are very sensitive to static energy (everyone has a different reaction to it) try different sockets and try to get a couple of different ppl to touch it same way as you do to see if they also get shocked if so send it back to warranty as @sri369 advised
