Hey!

So my G9-793 started messing around badly recently, with hard crashes where image just freezes and speakers start screaming like a dial-up modem. After doing everything I could think of software-wise, I decided to pick it apart, and see what I could find wrong inside. I then noticed there were no warranty stickers or seals of any kind, nothing was protected by anything. I could remove heatsinks and everything. Is this normal for an Acer Predator laptop that was bought brand new in store in late 2017? Just curious.

Cheers

You can open the laptop and add or check on the hardware , it will not void your warranty.
Some case you might no see warranty stickers. But make sure you do not break any parts inside the unit because it will void the warranty

Vauxe yes its normal in some countries you dont have warranty seals so you can open it to clean/repaste and upgrade whatever you want without voiding the warranty as long as you dont damage anything in the process :)
