    Good afternoon GlowingOne !

What EXACT model of your laptop?
Does only one specific game occur?
    Windows updated to version 1903?
    All drivers updated?
Have you tried another charger and other power outlets?

Acer aspire E15 E5-473G. All games with heavy cpu usage. My windows versiom is 1903. VGA last update april 2019(nvidia stop support Geforce 920M, so no more update). I never tried another charger or other power outlets. But sometimes this problem is gone randomized

    Perform the following procedures:

Review driver updates from both Nvidia and Intel HD Graphics.

Then configure the device as follows:

1- all drivers and windows must be properly updated
2- the device must be set to use the high performance power plan of Windows
3- the battery must be charged 100% before playing
4- Battery should be set to advanced power options for maximum performance.
5- Game applications must be set in dedicated GPU Dashboard (AMD or Nvida if you have one) to be the main
6- The appliance must be connected directly to a properly grounded power outlet without any power adapter.

Did you reset the battery and test other chargers?

Just Navigate to EDIT POWER PLAN  Battery ,

    Find PROCESSOR MANAGEMENT tab,

    Click "+"

and inside you will see  MINIMUM PROCESSOR SATE , and MAXIMUM
    both Set to 100%
    Plugged in or Unplugged .
and it should give you the exact CPU speed at full.

I used the second power cord. And work fine for 2 days. But now my second power cord is broken. I'm back using the original power cord again. My cpu speed lock because the original power cord. Something wrong with the power cord when my.laptop in gaming mode (heavy cpu usage).
