Hello. I have my acer predator helios 300 for 1 year and 1month. Now problem rised, last few weeks my laptop keeps disconnecting and connecting the charger as i would disconnect and connect it. The keyboard light turn off and on and i hear the beeping sound. I saw tha this problem starts when the laptop is at 100%. I searched the forums and tried different methods, uninstalling the power drivers, resting the battery itself. i dont know what to do. CAn i just remove the battery? as i am exclusevly gaming on this laptop i dont use it without a charger anyway. or i just have to live with this problem? what should i do?(if i disconnect the laptop to like 40% then charg until 100% it works perfectly fine but just as i hit 92% it will start connecting and disconnecting)

@SYEDHUSSAIN  no you cant remove the battery because the battery is needed to help the adapter to provide enough power to the cpu/gpu on high demanding games/tasks when this one cant if you remove the battery you will loose all performance  when the adapter asks for battery for help to provide power and its not there as this is the main purpose of the battery check your battery report for battery wear and perform a battery power drain let i rest for 2/3h  and reset bios to setup defaults if you have a lot of battery wear you need to replace your battery asap

My laptop charger  is connecting and disconnecting now at 82 % of charging

    What was the problem ?
  • I also suggest you try resetting the internal battery?

I guess (don't know) the issue is not software related, but comes e.g. from a loose contact or a cable breakage.
In this case you should contact a repair center.
    regards

Did you do the battery reset as @egydiocoelho suggested? After the reset push the power button for ca. 30 seconds to reset the embedded controller and "clean" the capacitors. When this doesn't help, it may be a fault of the charging electronics.
Usually I don't answer here at the international forum, ' cause I'm from Germany and don't know the correct english technical terms.

SYEDHUSSAIN have you already checked your battery wear as i advised above ?? if the battery cells are faulty might not hold charge to full capacity

Is there anyone find any solution to this problem?? I already tried all of these methods but no result.
Why Acer didn't say anything to solve this problem??
  • @IShtiaq_BD Perhaps the problem is with this button:
