My laptop was working fine before the issue happened, basically l wanted to install new windows 10 using windows media creation tool, along the line l interrupted it some minutes later by cancelling the process, after waiting for sometime l thought the cancellation was taking too much time to finish so l turned the laptop off from the power button . When l turned it on again it could not boot to windows, it often get stuck during booting , a lot of times it get stuck at automatic repair stage and that's it.

Here is what l have done trying to resolve it

1. I have tried booting with windows installation media or r
ecovery drive/system repair disc but to no avail. It often get stuck at automatic repair stage.
2. l have removed internal battery and memory, left them for some time then after fix back yet it did not help.
3. I took the hard disk to a different machine, but same model it worked alright, so the hard disk has no issue same as the OS l think.

Anyone with knowledge about this should help me.

Did you check the BIOS Main tab to make sure the D2D recovery option was enabled so the ALT+F10 cold boot reset would work?  Also, ALT+F10 must be pressed BEFORE the ACER logo screen appears.

Hi JackE, l appreciate your support very much , D2D was enabled , when you execute "alt+F10"  it writes "please wait" then after it goes blank . You could hear the machine running yet  nothing on screen, it could will stay like that till the next day .

Sounds like the HDD or SSD has an issue. Is it fully identified in the BIOS Information tab? Jack E/NJ

Nope. No BIOS images came throught  So just let us know if the HDD or SSD is identified in the BIOS ***INFORMATION*** tab. Yes or no. Jack E/NJ

OK. Set and save a BIOS supervisor password. Then re-enter the BIOS menu with the password and try to turn off secure boot. Does the HDD also show up as a bootable disk in the BIOS Boot tab?  If successful, then shut the machine off and try the ALT+F10 cold boot reset again. Jack E/NJ
