I have a Predator Helios 300. Brand new. Out of box today! It starts downloading and then stops. I tried a different game. Same thing. Tried same games on 3 other devices in my home and they downloaded just fine. Is there something I’m missing? Thanks!!!

What's "It"? If using Wi-Fi, disable everything under power management in Device Manager -> Right-click your WI-Fi adapter and choose Properties.

After about 5 hours, my husband just wiped the whole computer and reinstalled everything. That worked. So I’m not sure what the issue was but it came out of the box useless except for web browsing. Now I can play WoW and Diablo again :)
The computer would start the download and then stop. No pause. Just stop. Would shut down the download. So I’d start over and same thing. Download would stop and then close.
It wasn’t an internet issue. I’m always plugged in. That was one of my requirements for buying a computer. Had to have an Ethernet port. The top floor of my house doesn’t get the best wireless signal.
Having an issue that required wiping the whole within hours of purchase isn’t really acceptable and I hope this isn’t a precursor of things to come!

Yup, it is quite unacceptable to have issues right after you purchase a PC. Glad you got it solved by yourself. May be something in your default Ethernet adapter settings or Firewall settings had been the issue.
