Please my ES1-431 SERIES have been showing ''NO BOOTABLE DEVICE'' .

For over two months, my laptop have been having the no bootable device issue and I have tried all the solutions presented on this platform in relation to such issue and non seem to be working. I have also tried removing the hard drive and formation with another system but it all proved abortive. I'm really helpless and don't know what to do.

    Hi Iphy24

    You may receive the error "No Bootable Device" if your computer does not detect a hard drive, solid state drive, or other bootable drive to load the operating system. This can sometimes be caused by a change to settings in your BIOS or UEFI. Use the following steps to resolve this situation:

    1. Hold the power-button for 5 seconds to power off the device.
    2. Power on the system. As soon as the first logo screen appears, immediately press the F2 key, or the DEL key if you have a desktop, to enter the BIOS.
    3. Press F9 and then ENTER to load the default configuration. Press F10 to save your changes, and restart the system. Select Yes and press ENTER to confirm.

    Your system should boot up normally.

    Hi Iphy24

    It looks like something is wrong with the Harddrive, Please replace the hard drive and purchase a Recovery Media to re-install the Operating system.

    Thank you very much. But how do I know the hard driver when there is no provision for my country and acer store as there is no region for it. I would have also loved to send it for repair but The NO REGION thing is still limiting me.
