Hello friends
I have a problem with predator laptop
When playing games mainly when playing apex legends i have a sudden fps drop i doubt it is from my GPU since it a 6 Gb gtx 1060 and my in game settings are set to medium, the thing is my friend told me it might be from the CPU not the GPU.
My laptop is on charger so not playing on battery and I tried multiple known fixes from google but non have worked yet.
Anyone got an idea as if whay this keeps happening my game is running on 65 fps limit only and suddenly drops to 20~30 fps for 2-3 seconds then goes up again??

    Good evening ApexPredator !

Is the battery fully charged before playing?

My tip would also be to run a diagnostics programm in the background to check temps.

Also, you can monitor temps and frequencies ingame with MSI Afterburner. If the fps drops go along with a huge drop in GPU or CPU frequency and we know the temperature then it narrows the reasons down and helps analyse the issue.

Can you also tell us which graphics drivers you are using?

Also: What is your monitor refresh rate? Do you use Vsync ingame?

Just asking a lot of questions to get an overview what it could be....

Ok I'll try the msi afterburner for the temp but how much is the limit temperature for the CPU & GPU
I updated the latest driver of both the Intel and NVidia.
I am using the default 60Hz refresh rate and ths vsync is off ingame.
I dont mind asking if the problem is solved.

IIRC under 90 degrees Celcius should be fine for that card. I can not tell you how the temps for CPU, though- you never told us which one you run ;)
