Driver Power State Error on ES1-132 repeatedly after getting HDD cable and installing SSD

Hi, I have an Acer Aspire ES1-132-C974 laptop. It originally came with the 32GB eMMc. We all know that is not enough as updates were impossible to get on it. I sourced and bought the SATA cable and got a SSD. I installed both and got back Win 10 on the PC. However, ever since the installation, I keep getting a "driver power state failure" BSOD. It's not the SSD at fault because I previously tried a HDD and the same issue was happening so I thought maybe it's a speed issue and got the SSD and it's the same issue. It destroyed my HDD because of the frequent "Driver Power State Error" BSOD repeatedly crashing the system abruptly. I'm afraid it might do the same to my SSD. Any solution to a working fix is appreciated as I've tried all the methods that they suggested online. I tried all the power options modifications to no avail and all my drivers are up to date. I've tried all that I've seen on forums and Microsoft site itself to no avail. Please. I need help in fixing it. It happens almost roughly about the same time spaces in between each BSOD. This is the ONLY BSOD that ever comes up. Nothing else. The part number for the cable is 50.GG2N7.004. How do I fix this? I ask for your kind assistance. BIOS version 1.12
