So I ended up get my laptop replaced i bought earlier in the month due to the secondary drive making clicking noise but the store no longer sell 2018 edition so they don't have anything stock to replace but they ended up letting me getting it exchanged for a helios 300 2070 2019 edition don't know the exact model name. I want to know how big of a improvement is compared to the old laptop i returned. Won't be getting the new laptop till next week.

     Well the 9th gen cpus are worse than the 8th gen according to the benchmarks and all the tests i had seen and it will never clock to 4.5 the max you would squeeze from it would be about 4.0 so it would be probably at the exact same level as your 8th gen who clocks up to 4.10 regarding  the rtx2070 its maxq so its down clocked  to reduce heating a pure 1660ti non max q well tweaked will be at the same level as the 2070 maxq so this said you have a better ssd and definitely a good hdd 7200rpm would be definitely wdblack overall its not bad you end up with a better ssd,hdd a better gpu and i cant say the same about the cpu because as i said they should be on the same level anyway give it a test when it arrives and give us a shout about the performance :)

    How much better is it in terms of cooling / noise? Old laptop is a 15 inch new laptop is 17 inch forgot to mention that

    Its a maxq its should run cool and with less noise as its down clocked but you can also undervolt it if needed it and dont forget to optimize windows as soon as you get it

    How is the cooling of the 17 inch model 2019 helios 300 vs 15 inch 300 2019 theres no reviews of the 17 inch models.
