Hello
Yesterday i was doing my routine laptop cleanup from the inside and as i was unscrewing  the left fan and lifting it the electronic ribbon (i don't know the technical term ) snapped in half which caused the RGB to go off in the fan while it's working perfectly normal . Any ideas how to remedy this issue and do i need a complete fan replacement ?

Let the knowledgeable ones come online. They are like normal people like us. They don't work for Acer.

AvengerRyu so you snapped the fan cable ?? if this is the case you have to get a complete fan replacement as the cable its soldered to the fan itself as far as im aware and even if would still be on warranty it wouldnt cover it as its self user damage also can you post your full model number (no serial neither SNID its not allowed) you could probably drop a PM to @Kev0806 he is an authorized parts partner and certainly he has what you need

The fan is working perfectly fine as the cables are intact , but there is another very fragile wire coming from the bottom   of the fan (ribbon shaped as seen in the picture ) which i assume it's for powering the fan's RGB (only on the Triton models) since it's the only thing that's not working . Thanks for taking time to reply and i'll make sure to PM  the person you refrenced .
