Charging of battery.(AN515-42-R5ED)

The maximum Charge on my battery has been dropping about 2% per week. It's down to 89%. This computer is less than a year old, and I'm hoping that it's a technical issue and something that I can solve without sending this computer in for repair. That could take a while and I depend on it.

    Two things.
    1. do a battery reset. turn off and unplug, place a straightened paperclip in the small hole on the underside of the laptop and press for 10 seconds then leave laptop sitting for 15 mins, now plug in and turn on. If that doesn't work go to step 2 below.

    2. Reset the battery meter. unplug laptop and use it until battery level drops to just below 10% then recharge it, repeat two more times

    Hi @Phantomeagle,
    Try to reinstall the battery drivers. Go to device manager and try to uninstall the drivers and restart the unit.

    I have Uninstall device, nothing about drivers.

    If I delete the Device will my computer rebuild it upon restart?

    Do not delete the driver just uninstall it and upon restarting the unit it will rebuild

    Still at 89%, and Charging, but no change. Even found a chat here that said to reset the battery. Tried it as well. I tried updating, but it said that I had the current ones. In the a place on here that has updated drivers that might not be connecting to my computer?

    My model is AN515-42-R5ED, built in 11/13/18.
