Hi, I want to disable bios password which I was forced to set in order to disable Secure Boot. But now I don't want it asking me for a password every time I access bios menu.

My second question is, my Predator PH315-51 (HELIOS 300) only lasts 1:30 hour on battery by just watching movies and using software like Word, Android Studio. Is that normal?

    Hi lulgate,

Unfortunately we do not allow/provide direct support or discuss any steps on unlocking BIOS passwords or bypassing of security features. (Please check/ review our Acer Community User Agreement

We recommend contacting your local Acer support for better assistance: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/ID/content/partner-bali

    Thanks,

He didn't ask for unlocking BIOS in any illegal way, @Acer-Harvey. He just wants to remove the password that he had setup and still knows it.
@lulgate, do this. Go to the BIOS password that you set-up before. Try changing its password by leaving the new and confirm new password fields as blank and save the settings. This will remove the BIOS password that you had set-up for disabling secure boot. Also I recommend keeping Secure Boot on if you are using only Windows.

    Hi,
Try uninstalling and re-installing the battery drivers and check with the battery withstanding charge. follow the below steps:
Once you're in Device Manager, expand the Batteries section by clicking the little icon to the left of the word Batteries. Right-click Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and select Uninstall.
Hit Accept if its useful :)
