14th Day of repair Predator x34A

Sorry to whinge in here but getting no look anywhere else.

My Predator x34A screen stopped working on me and I sent it in for repair. After one week (the 16th) I was contacted and told that the screen was found to be faulty and was replaced under warranty, it was tested and was all found to be good. However the bezel was damaged on arrival and they were basically saying that they couldn't replace it under warranty and I would have to pay.
I had no problems with this and told them to go ahead and fix it, and they took payment over phone. 10 minutes later I got an email confirming this but also notifying me that the part they need (the bezel) wasn't in stock and they were awaiting the parts? I thought they would of told me about this before taking my money. Also my decision would of probably of been different on the repair as I also found out that it takes them up to a week to get there parts in. Anyway moving forward.
On Friday 23rd They received the part at 10:29am I was told on the phone, and that the monitor had gone down for repair again.
 I have had no updates whatsoever about the repair since, everytime I ring I get different time scales even different stories. Some people say the part isn't even there yet. others are saying it has been repaired but will need a week of testing! Others just out right don't know. I am nearly 3 weeks in without an update from them and always me calling them. Just seems a bit of a messed up way to do things. 

Has anyone else has dealings with acer repair, I won't be buying an acer product again after this just cause of the way it's been dealt with. It's not even so much the time scales but more the way they have handled the situation.

    Thanks for getting  back to me. I have eventually had a phone call from a supervisor this morning, and he seemed to actually have some knowledge on what was actually going on. Apparently the part they had ordered was the wrong part so now they have ordered a new one. This means they wont even get the part till end of next week and then how ever long it takes to fit and test. I have requested for the monitor to be sent back to me unfixed. Then either send me the part when they get it, or I will just order my own. I can have a brand new bezel shipped to me with in 48 hours, so quicker than Acer can get there own part apparently.
