i have the acer nitro 5 2019 model, ( AN515-54 ) version.

i want to install ubuntu 16.04, but always failed to install in the middle of the installation process.
it says " The 'grub-efi-amd64-signed' package failed to install into /target/. Without the GRUB boot loader, the installed system will not boot.'

i've tried fixing the usb stick several times (because i thought i have a problem when burning the iso into the usb flashdrive) but still have the same problem.
i've also disabled the secure boot mode.

please tell me how to fix it, thanks.

    Good afternoon christophorus !

What EXACT model of your laptop?
Why aren't you using a newer distro like 19.04?
Are you trying to dual-boot or just Linux?
Did you disable the GPU before installing?
