Hi, i have a Predator PH315-52 with 1660ti. yesterday I was playing Anno 1404 when suddenly pc crashed. Now every time the GPU starts, the pc crashes. Since then I installed several drivers (also in safe mode), reset windows (which failed bc of black screen and I could only fix with a paragon repair tool usb).
Does anyone have suggestions?

I have used Turbo button, so I did overclock but did not mess with anything.

You may need to install the latest updates for your display driver, so that it properly supports the TDR process. Visual effects, or too many programs running in the background can cause this to happen. These Hardware issues can also cause this issue to occur:

    1. Over-clocked components
    2. Incorrect component compatibility and settings
    3. Insufficient system cooling
    4. Insufficient system power
    5. Defective parts.

    Video_TDR_Failure 0x00000116 stop error

The Stop Error screen displays the file name depending on your graphics card that is triggering the error. This error may show up the file called igdkmd64.sys or nvlddmkm.sys which are related to Intel integrated graphics. If you are using AMD or ATI graphics card, then the error may show up the file name atikmpag.sys. Proceed with the following solutions to fix the error in Windows 10.

How did you uninstalled the drivers via normal process or DDU ?

If nothing else works i suggest you to perform a stock recovery reset ALT+F10 on boot and deleting all files (clean install) to rune out any software issues after this if it still persists i would say its a hardware issue and send it for warranty for a possible repair/replace
I first uninstalled in device manager, later used DDU
the error was nvldldl.sys or something like that. i did not find it under system32/drivers or nvidia/drivers.

I got it working again! I installed Advanced Systemcare Free and did 'clean registry' and 'defrag registry'.

I would still like to reset the PC but im scared to lose everything again. Last time i used reset it failed because of black screen and I could only fix with a paragon repair tool usb. I'm not sure what to do.
I'll make a recovery disk first this time and we'll see later.

Never tried to overclock the GPU.
When I first got the laptop I updated the GPU driver I had to uninstall it too. I thought it was the driver acting weird, maybe there was an issue from the start.

I got it working for an hour. did a complete reset and problem persists. I saw cool past coming from under de gpu cooling plate when removing my M.2 SSD. Maybe that's a problem.
I will probably ship it to Acer but repair doesn't accept my serial number at the moment.
