I have intermittent problems with the Crystal webcam on my new Acer Aspire. As suggested by Acer technicians they say to

uninstall the webcam software and then shut down the computer and the webcam will work. Well it works for a while and then stops working. I also have reinstalled all settings to original when I received the laptop and the camera again works for a while

and then does not. I have seen some messages about installing new nVidia driver 280.26 and when I tried to do this I received

a notice that there was no compatible software to allow me to download it. This is a very frustrating problem and I would

dearly love to have a permanent solution to the problem. Would appreciate suggestions. A friend told me to just go and

buy a camera to attach to the laptop but feel that is ridiculous since there is a camera installed. Would appreciate any help that the Acer community can provide.
