Hi all, new here, have searched without any luck, would appreciate some feedback.
I bought son a Predator from an Amazon seller in the the US. A month later the screen has an internal crack, no external damage. Son claims he left laptop on table, went to have dinner and when he got back it was cracked. Is that even possible to have happened? What is my best way to get it repaired - a warranty claim with Acer back in the US or pay for the repair myself locally ? I'm in Canberra.

    Hi,
I would suggest you to buy the panel and install it yourself, you can avoid the hassle of sending to USA and the cost of packaging and shipping, it won't take more than 20 mins to install the panel, the panel may have got damaged in transit and your son may not have noticed immediately, it could have been from a bad batch , it's difficult to give you a firm answer.
  • It would be interesting for you to provide the exact model and where the screen is cracked. Example an515-51-75kz.
