Yes, Y checked your previous tip. But at BootOptions Menu
You only can change the Boot Priority Order and Enable/Disable Quiet Boot
there you can press Enter to chose EFI as the last option and Hard Disk as 1st. But it did't work for 64-bit

Then by Pressing Enter on EFI Boot Drive Priority
You can see this screen but there is nothing to change.

I tried to push Alt+F1 keys or Ctrl+F1 and any combination from F1 to F6 but I don’t know how to show hidden options like Legacy mode

  • I think you try to install windows 8 in uefi mode, because uefi mode only supports x64 windows on desktops and notebooks. The only exception is tablets, which allow you to install windows in uefi mode on x86.
To do this, convert the flash drive to gpt like this:

Then download an x64 only iso from windows 8 or 10.
Go to the boot tab and put uefi first and pendrive second and then create a password in changesupervisorpassword to disable secureboot.

So changing the Disk to GPT you think the P01-A1 can run a x64 OS ??? And if you think that, why?

Spec says you can install a 64bit OS, since they shipped some units with 4GB and the 64bit version of Windows 7. Note that the 6GB the other person here had is not supported with the Atom D2500 chip, and that might have been the root of his issue back in 2019. GPT (and UEFI) are what is used in modern OS versions for booting. If your BIOS doesn't support UEFI then you don't want GPT. If it supports UEFI then you do want to switch to it at the same time as you install the 64bit version of the OS. Note that it's going to be quite slow on this system...

And what i need to do for know if my bios (in this case P01-A1) supports UEFI? I remember to you, that we are in a discussion of how to downgrade the Acer Aspire Z1650 to P01-A0 the previous of P01-A1. Or in other case how to install a 64Bit OS in this currently Bios (P01-A1).

In the Boot Options tab in your BIOS, does it use EFI as the first option? If so you have a UEFI BIOS...

Yes, This Bios have that option. But literally this Bios CANT supports a x64 Operative System because Only admits a x86 processor.
The thing that we need is the previous Bios of the P01-A1, because that Bios supports x64 bits. Theres no way to install and USE a x64 Operative System in this Bios (P01-A1), if Acer says this Bios can support 64 bits, THATS NOT TRUE.
We. Need. P01-A0 for Acer Aspire Z1650.
