Fingerprint or PIN not working

I am currently locked out of my Acer Swift 1 laptop. Whenever I try to sign in with my fingerprint I get a message that says “your pin is required to sign in” and when I try to sign in with my pin it says “Pin is no longer available due to change in the security settings” so I am unable to sign in to change my Pin. Is there a way to reset my laptop?

    Hi, sorry to hear it. Try to Reset your PC by following the below steps.

    Reset PC using Alt + F10:
    1)Press and hold the Power key for 5 seconds to power the system off completely and unplug all the cables.
    2)Press and hold down the Alt key,press the Power key to turn on the computer.Immediately start tapping the F10 key while you are still holding down the Alt key.
    3)Your system should boot to a blue screen that says Choose an option.
    4)Select Troubleshoot.
    5)Click Reset your PC. This process will erase all data on the your system. 
    6)Click Next, then select Just remove my files.
    7)Click Reset to begin the recovery.
