I have a triton 500 (model: PT515-51). As i unplug charger from my laptop battery drops to 93%. Sometimes, it drops to 99%. but i have not seen 100% charge upon unplug. "Battery info view" (https://imgur.com/a/2fX0OQQ) shows a better health than it is designed for. Battery backup is OK and it does not seems to have a battery problem.  Can any one with same issue, help me out ? I can not claim for warranty because i am out of US. Is it a battery calibration issue?  or MS battery management issue? I am currently on 1.08 version of BIOS.

    Do not worry about this - this is very normal. Windows cuts off battery charging once it hits 100, and sends signals to charging circuitry that the battery is at 100% for any value of battery between 95 and 100. Looks like in yours it is set from 93 to 100. Don't bother about this, nor about any software showing battery wear of 7% or less. This is done to prevent momentary charge discharge cycles to extend battery life.

    Hi @Imran_akthar ;
    Try doing a power drain by inserting a paperclip on a battery reset hole and press and hold it for about 30secs, to remove the static energy from the unit.
    Also have you updated the battery drivres ?
    Hit Accept if its useful :)

    Try un-insatlling and re-insatlling the battery drivers and check whether the issue is getting resolved, follow the below steps:
    1. Press Windows Key + X to open Win + X menu. ...
    2. Now click Batteries in the Device Manager window.
    3. Next, you should right-click Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and select Uninstall from the context menu.
    4. Click Uninstall to confirm.
    Hit Accept if its useful :)
