I bought the Aspire 5552G in 2011. I recently changed the hard drive like for like 750GB. It has Windows 10 installed on it due to the forced upgrade some years ago. It runs incredibly slow, one command execute takes approximately 15-30 minutes to action so getting to the sucurity and update section has taken me almost an entire day. I have all the drivers documents downloads here on the acer site register products. I also have the original discks that came with the laptop.I have backed up all my data so I do not care if everything is removed....
My question is how do I get it back to the quick running state again?? do I need to download all the original drivers etc onto a disk and boot up the laptop from the disk? If so how do I enter the BOOT UP on the laptop, F8/F12/F2 etc?
Do I need to make a driver suite somehow with all the original items installed on it when I bought it back in 2011?
It runs super slow and I now wish to pass this laptop down to my children to play on.
Any help is awsome.
Thanks.
