Hi. I use acer nitro 5 and i plan to upgrade my RAM someone advice me to use crucial because it is specially for my pc type but my question is may i use any brand others than crucial? 2) may i mix different brand of RAM for example ADATA RAM with KINGSTON RAM. May I?

    Hi,
    Yes you can use different brands of memory modules but both must be of same specs, if ADATA and Kingston have the same specs, you can use them.

    @The_Bruh I am the someone that you refer too. Yes you can use any brand as long as it matches exactly. I did not say you had to use Crucial, I was pointing out that it was an easy way to find an exact match and Crucial are a good brand that works for many without conflict problems. Good luck
