When I use a demanding graphics program or a demanding game, the battery LED blinks and is orange, I often write: connected, discharging or, connected, no charging. Temperatures are not higher than 80C. Acer nitro 5 i5 8250u 8gb mx150 1000gb.

Acer laptops are designed to game plugged into power only, they can only operate at High Performance when on AC with a 100% charged battery. Please charge your battery to 100% BEFORE gaming and keep it plugged in and charging, launch and play a demanding game then report back.
Blinking yellow light means battery is in a less than full state and needs charging

Are your programs actually running OK or are they lagging, stuttering or freezing?

Then the problem is why is it throttling down, the light blinking is just a symptom I think. We know that temperature isn't an issue. Are your graphics drivers and your BIOS updated? Have you done a battery reset?

So you have updated to the latest drivers on the card? you have selected your dedicated Nvidia GPU and it is set on High Performance, and your games and demanding programs are imported and set on High Performance as well, correct?
So if you have done all that update your BIOS here https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7385?b=1 you need BIOS v1.21 you don't need any of the others 1.21 contains all updates.
You do a battery reset by turning off and unplugging the laptop then take a straightened paper clip and insert it in the small hole on the underside with a battery symbol next to it, press for 10 seconds then let the laptop sit for an hour, then plug it in and boot up

No my mistake download the second one for now, when it's downloaded it is a zip flie so right click and in your zip menu select extract here, then double click on the extracted installer and answer YES to security questions and after you have installed it do the battery reset
