I have a brand new Aspire ES15 that has been layoing around for three years and now when trying to start it is it just showing a black screen.
- I have tested with external monitor (HDMI) => same thing
- No Acer logo, no BIOS information showing what so ever
- Tested to reset Cmos via "small hole" in the backside => no change
- Tested to remove SSD-disc and RAM and start to get into BIOS setup but still black screen
- Tested repeatidly F2 button at startup => no change
- The power on starts the fans, SSD-disc so no sound and the led turns on
- Pressing the power button 5 sec, will stop the computer

To me it looks like a corrupt BIOS or a corrupt/broken video card.

Any suggstions on how to get further ?
It seems like a waste to not be able to use a brand new unused pc.

Try pressing and holding the F2 key before you push the power button. If no joy, then remove bottom cover, unplug the CMOS coin cell, and short out its mainboard terminals to try to reset the BIOS to a default state. Also check that coin cell voltage is at least 3.1 volts before putting it back. Try it again. Jack E/NJ

Thanks Jack, but even though I solded out the CMOS coin cell and kept it out for a while, no difference. The CMOS is giving 3.1v.
I start to suspect that the Vidoe card is broken somehow, I guess that the screen and the external HDMI connectors are coming from one and the same  card/circuit.
As not even the BIOS is showing on the sceen do I not see any way yo get an external monitor to work, even an USB-port replicator needs bios to work,

Let it run for about a half hour in this state with the HDMI TV connected. Then start banging away at the FN+F5 and FN+F6 toggle key combos to see if you can get even a flicker of light on the screens. Jack E/Nj

Sorry, but no reaction what so ever on the HDMI connected screen, nor on the built in one. Strangly is that no error codes like beepes or flickering lights occurs.
