Hi, I'm a new user of Acer Products and I got a Nitro5 AN515-51 a few weeks ago. I'm worried about my battery and I want to keep it healthy to use it for years. Any advice or tips?

Every month or so discharge it to just under 10% and then recharge, repeat for a total of 3 times. Note, always charge battery to 100% BEFORE gaming and keep it plugged in while gaming, that's how they are designed and will not harm the battery

Not yet. I still don't know the best way to use my laptop battery and keep it healthy...

OK, well I've told you all there is to know, you do know that we don't work for Acer, we are users just like you trying to help and share our knowledge. Never discharge to zero, Game on 100% plugged in and discharge just below 10% every month 3 times consecutively, that's about all there is to know. Nothing else to add sorry, good luck

Having your battery always plugged in is NOT harmful to modern laptop batteries, the Nitro series shuts the charger off at 100% battery and starts trickle charging again when it drops below 100%, that's what you are observing happening. I stress this is NOT harmful and it is designed to operate in this manner

I always use my laptop while it's plugged in so its battery is often on 100%. But sometimes it reduces about 2,3% even it's plugged in!!! And then recharge to 100%.

that is because the laptop does not run off mains power it always runs off the battery and the main power trickle charges it
