Is it possible to update the bios from 1.02 to 1.05 or should I do it gradually step by step 1.02 - 1.03....1.05?

Install the latest one directly, i.e., 1.05 in your case.

No there isn't but it has been 3 updates and it seems to have fixed some issues. You think I should stay on 1.02? Also new laptop so surely fixes are necessary

If those fixes are good enough for you, there's no problem in updating. However, if the fixes don't mean anything good, stay on what you have. I always update to latest BIOS so that all fixes get applied.
