Greetings. I work at home and want to save my battery in good condition because my laptop is always connected to AC power adapter. I know that Turbo Boost doesn't work when the laptop works on battery. I unplugged the battery and connect AC power adapter but Turbo Boost is disabled like on battery. Pease someone help with this problem.

    Good evening Prizrak_enota !

What EXACT model of your laptop?
First, you should never remove the battery and use the device without it.
In today's high performance equipment the battery is an essential part of the system.
In addition to providing power without the power outlet, it also provides some of the power to calibrate excessive high performance voltages.
As the current ones are lithium, removing them will not "spare" them but will speed up the degradation process.
The cells will lose calibration and cause wear and tear.
So you should put it back in your device.

Thanks for detailed information about today's laptops. I have already put battery back.
Besides I have another laptop - Fujitsu LIFEBOOK S904 and it works fine without battery and Turbo Boost is enabled.
