Ive got a 2060 ready for installation but im worried that it might over heat and end up ‘melting’ my other parts. So im asking if a EVGA 2060 gtx rtx is compatible on a predator g3-710 which has a I5-6400 and original gpu being a 970 psu of 500 watts

I can answer my own question. It is NOT compatible as the latch at the back doesnt close all the way. There are panels which need to be snapped off to place graphics card but card is to big

I wonder if other vendors of the 2060 will work, since it seems to be a fit issue and they will likely have other form factors.
