Hi, am sorry to hear it.Try uninstalling and re-installing the battery drivers of the unit, follow the steps below:

    1) In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
    2) Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the battery drivers, and select Uninstall.
    3) Restart your PC.
    4) Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
Hit Accept if its useful :)

Since it started working for a day atleast shows  it is a software problem. battery is fine.
try all the software debugging and if all fails reinstall (clean) win 10 os.

Thanks all for your replays, i tried to do window fresh start which didn't help.
I hope it is only software issue , because i got the laptop from Amazon. I dont know if the Acer agent here will cover it under warranty or not.

Jaffar If a fresh windows install didnt fixed the issue it definitely not a software issue its hardware related as you bought it on amazon i would contact them for a possible replace first just to see what they say if they said no as @sri369 said contact Acer support directly make sure you have you amazon invoice (proof of purchase) at hand they will ask for the details
