Hello,
I have received an older Acer desktop from my company.
When I turn it on it goes directly to bios, where it ask me to press Tab or Del to go to bios menu.

My keyboard is not recognized. When i turn on the PC it does a beep, my screen turns on and the lights on the keyboard flash once.
After that I cannot do anything.

I have tried an acer keyboard with a round plug and another with for USB port (i have tried all USB I can find). Neither work.
I have unpluged the CMOS battery and plugged it back in after waiting 5+ min.
I did plug in a mouse and the light turns on red but I cannot use it(nor do i see it move in BIOS, even if it could).

Any ideas on what else I might try will be greatly apreciated.

Regards

Which model do you have? It sounds like it's pretty old if it still has the round connectors for keyboard and mouse. On most older chipset designs those two connectors are handled internally as if they were USB, so if your whole USB system is hosed you'd get your symptoms. Was the system working before you got it, or was it a dead pull?
