Hey guys I'm using Acer predator Helios 300 i5 core laptop.. it's been 2 years I'm using this laptop..And I'm  a hard-core gamer.. At the beginning it had very good performance and temperature was in between 70 to 90 degree Celsius and used to play continuously for 6 to 8 hours.. But now my laptop heats up quickly even if I play low end pc games like PUBG LITE , CUPHEAD. It reaches 98 degree Celsius if I play while charging the laptop.. I don't know why.. Even if I leave the laptop charging it heats up to around 70 degree Celsius.. I'm so ***** off.. I need help please

    Hi @AnilS,
Are you using any cooling pad? Try to disable the services in system configuration. make sure to mark the hide all Microsoft services. Its safe for your unit. Microsoft services should be on all the time.
if the temperature is more than 95* then its not good to use the unit. 95-100* is not a good sign.

This issue happens with me too. Using a Rs.2000 cooling pad didn't help me. Also, the disabling the services caused some weird software issues with the laptop. In India this laptop is just waste of money due to high temperatures... :(
A cooling pad will only help reducing 2 degrees or so.

AnilS u might need to repaste it (with goo thermal paste like kryonaut or similar) and clean the fans/exit airflow its normal that after 2 year you would have this result in fact im impressed it lasted so long all gaming laptops should be repasted once per year just to be safe (not needed if you dont have thermal issue) also optimize windows and undervolt it if you havent already follow the links in my signature to learn more

Also Saad98 have you followed any of the procedures i just stated if so you also might need to repaste it
