does it work in dual channel? also I'm planing to upgrade my PH315-52 with rtx2600 to 64GB total Ram 32+32 but some say its not supported. So my next best option will be 16+16 ddr4 3200 in dual channel provided it works of cause. else I'll just get the 2666 version.

@aceerfan Haven’t try yet it’s just first boot up, I will do it later. Also pls note this is not smth what you get out of box you need to disassemble whole laptop in order to achieve it  =) As for 64 Gb I would say 50/50 you will not know until you try on practice

belik so you had to unlock/mod/flash the bios in order to load the xmp profiles into the bios to run at 3200 correct ?? if so this option its not advisable to anyone voids warranty straight away and if youre not an experienced/advanced user in working with programmers to flash the modded bios and as always you risk to brick it permanently even if you have experience it could also happen i have seen it  so as i said i really dont advise anyone to mod their bios and this community also doesnt promote any tutorials on how to do it neither guides its strictly prohibited to provide it its in the (ACUA) anyone not following the the ACUA might get their account permanently removed/banned this is just a warning

Yes @xapim this is the bios unlock and this is the only way to select XMP profiles, change power throttle limits, control cooling properly etc because Acer doesn't care about user needs, just like with the case when their latest modern most popular 2019 laptop comes without proper fans control and they don't bother to pay any feedback to us as I see on latest several months
And you are absolutely right that it can void the warranty and there is some (small but still) risk so it is matter of everyone personally to decide whether it worths it or not. And I'm aware of community policy that's why I'm not going to explain the process on this site  :)

PS Btw I asked you to check service manual whether it explains dependency fans rpm and temperature, is there smth in it? Can you check it please?

    Sure @Wolver1ne, here is dual channel DDR4-2666 19-19-19-43 T2 vs DDR4-3200 20-22-22-42 T2

PS yes I see that the first case was with 4300Mhz on Cpu vs 3400Mhz in the second but those Cpu clocking is really mess, well for awhile  =)

johnraymond if you had read the posts above and the ACUA you would already know that talking about modding/unlocking bios its not allowed in this community if you want to do it you have to do it outside here use google or you can pm the OP directly for more info

    Have 2019 Acer Predator Helios 300  (PH315-52-75DE) i7-9750H with RTX 2060. Acer factory installed SH Hynix HMA81GS6JJR8N-VK  DDR4 2666MHz (PC4-21300) Non ECC, Unbuffered, 1.2v, Timing 19-19-19-43 2T.
So what MFR brand name, type and part number did you upgrade for 3200MHz 32GB (2x16GB) Dual Channel?
Was it the Kingston HyperX HX432S201B/16.  Found this listed:
    Kingston Technology HyperX Impact  32GB 3200MHz DDR4 CL20 SODIMM (Kit of 2) Memory HX432S20IBK2/32 for $198 USD,  Kingston website $190 USD. (kit of 2 meant 2 x 16GB modules).
How did you managed to get them to perform at 3200MHz cause in August 2019 said not working then in Sept 2019 they are. Oh! CPU-Z had shown this part number
KHX3200C20S4/16GX in your August 2019 post. Thank you.

Hi, Belik. Regarding your upgrade I've seen the readings by cpu-z. How did you manage to make it to recognise the real frequency of Hyperx at 3200MHz? I want to order the same Hyperx memory modules but I am not sure what to do because I have at 3200MHz Samsung - M471A1K43DB1-CWE stock ram modules but cpu-z shows "DRAM Frequency - 1463MHz". PredatorSense shows 3200MHz but Windows device manager shows 2933MHz. I have the same model of laptop but newer version with I7-10750H cpu and RTX2070 gpu.  Thank you!

I forgot to mention, I have PH315-53 and bios version 1.09. I understood we have to unlock the bios in order to support that frequency. Could you advise me how to proceed?
    Thanks!

If no one is able to help us, guys let's ask Acer to support us and create an official bios update in order to support the real ram speed. We understand the CPU supports only 2933MHz but it could be better at 3200MHz. Why Acer added ram modules at 3200MHz in my laptop ?
Dear Acer, kindly provide us a bios update to support the real speed of the ram memory...
What can I say is that in the past I had Asus ROG551JW and I had the same issue. The laptop came with 1600MHz modules. During my upgrade I added ram at 1866MHz Hyperx and I could see only 1600MHz. After bios update the real speed was visible. Guys be patient, Acer will solve this issue in the future. We need to request this thing in order to make it faster. Now I have Acer, not anymore Asus so Acer please support us.
As you can see we need to ask some people to modify the bios, some of them provide virus, trojan, malware in their apps to create a dump so I prefer to be safe and wait.
    Thanks!
