Acer Nitro AN515 53 Can't load games

Hi, so basically the title says it all. Few days ago i brought in my new Acer Nitro 5 and i wanted to test it out on a few simple games. The games i used are:

Runescape;
Lineage 2;
Sniper Elite V2;

I haven't tried any other games, maybe some other would run, but i just want to fix this problem and i don't really know what to do. So the errors/problems are different for all of the games, here's what's happening:

The runescape client throws me this error just after loading. This is happening every time: The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application (c0000409)

The Lineage 2 game window also crashes just after loading. The window freezes and there is a message saying "L2.bin has stoped working".

Sniper Elite V2 game loads only to the extent, where the main screen should be loaded with the menu, settings etc. It just freezes and i have to close it through task manager.

None of this ever happened on my old laptop, that ran Windows 7.

If anyone could give me some tips to what i could try, that would be much appreciated!

Specs:

Acer Nitro 5 AN515 53;
Intel Core i5-8300  230GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 4GB
8GB RAM
1TB HDD
256GB SSD
Windows 10 Home

    Try right clicking each games .exe file , then left click Properties, click the Compatibility tab and select Run in Compatibility Mode for Windows 7 and then Run as Administrator, click Apply and OK

    I know that your using Windows 10 but you are running older games designed for Wndows 7, this is a common problem and a common solution. When done Windows 10 will attempt to run those games in Compatibilty mode for Windows 7. Please follow the instructions and report back

    I will try that when i get back to my computer.

    This also happens with Steam games, such as CS:GO.

    Tried to run in compatibility mode, still the same. I have played these games on windows 10 on another laptop as well, so i don't think windows is the problem here.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks for helping btw.

    Maybe corrupt Nvidia drivers. Download the latest Nvidia drivers for your model here https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx then download DDU here https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html Run DDU to do a clean uninstall of your current drivers then install the updated drivers, reboot and let us know

    Done it, but the results are still the same.

    Although the process was a bit weird. After i ran the DDU, the system restarted and when it did, it didn't seem like the driver was uninstalled. I could watch a movie or load a simple pre-built game like candy crush just like before. I don't think it uninstalled the driver. I did install the driver afterwards, but that didn't help.

    Some more info: the games that freeze while loading, like Sniper Elite V2, Lineage or CS:GO still has the sound on them even after the screen freezes. I can also hear the sounds while i am navigating the mouse through menu options, although nothing is happening after i press them.

    It was using the Windows 10 base VGA driver. Make sure your Nvidia GPU is set on high performance and each game is imported and set to run on the Nvidia GPU at High Performance. Make sure your battery is charged to 100% BEFORE gaming and you keep it plunged into the power while gaming.

    Ok, so now what i found is that the default graphics card used to launch games was Nvidia GPU. So i tried to run the games on the integrated Intel graphics card instead and all the games work... Of course, the FPS and performance is very bad, but they load fully and i can play them.

    The question now is, why can't i run these games on my Nvidia GPU?

    You need to use the Nvidia GPU to game not the Intel

    The games do not load with Nvidia GPU, but they do load with integrated GPU. I think i'll warranty services, maybe the Nvidia GPU just doesn't work.

    If your under warranty that's the best course because they should play with the Nvidia GPU, that's what it's for, gaming

    Have you tried resetting the internal battery?

    Some similar issues on other models were resolved by uninstalling the driver through ddu and also resetting the internal battery. The battery reset can be a cure all that sometimes works for GPU problems, click the above pic for the how too video
