Is anyone having DPC latency issues with the Predator Helios 500 (PH517-61)? If so I would like to hear your pain. Think of it like a support group, lol.

From my exhaustive research online, it seems we accepted we will have to wait for a patch, because this problem is one with a driver holding up the kernel and it cannot be fixed by the end user. This issue is not specific to Acer, Nvidia, or AMD.

If you are running 1903 and are producing music, with no issues, please let me know!

The new Windows update that just came out July 26-27 is what fixed my issue. KB4505903

Can you run it for 1 hour with no spikes?  Some motherboards and such aren't affected. I can run latency mon for sometimes 20 min no issues, but usually its about 5 minutes before a giant spike.

You really must be letting it run!

ntoskrnl.exe is the culprit, just got a 2788.86us spike after less than 10 min, using LatencyMon to monitor. They talk about this on many other forums, I'm just trying to see if other Predator 500 owners with the Ryzen setup are seeing the same things I am.

Right? Well I just got my Predator 500 last week, and I put in a 970 Evo, so I used the most recent USB boot drive downloaded from Windows which was 1903? or a newer version at least. So it never had 1809 on it.

You can always download an older Windows build and create a new installation drive to test if the issues persist

Yes I had the original build running on it for the first couple of days so I know that build is working well. The problem is I have already spent the time downloading and installing my music programs which are immense. I don't want to do that again, and then again when I am forced to move to 1903 in the future.

I was hoping someone else (who produces music or cares about DPC latency) would be able to tell me they are experiencing the same issues.
