I have been running into an issue, I had to do a clean install of my laptop and ever since then the laptop will not run games using the dedicated video card. I have set nVidia control panel to High Performance nVidia processor in the Manage 3D settings section. I have done a full uninstall using DDU, and reinstall of the drivers from the Acer website. When I disable the Intel integrated graphics it only runs the Microsoft Basic Video. I really don't know where to go from here. I have also updated the BIOS to the most current, and the power is on High Performance. What do I need to do to get this to use the dedicated video card?

Your mistake was doing the driver install from the Acer website. Download the updated drivers directly from the Nvidia website https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx, uninstall using DDU then reinstall the Nvidia drivers you downloaded from there website

Please click YES if I answered your question

I am not an ACER employee
Thank you and have a blessed day  B)
