Acer Predator Helios 300 Headphones forcing surround sound, and Webcam light keeps turning on

Good day, so as the question/title says, I downloaded and installed all the drivers available on the Acer support page for my newly bought Predator Helios 300, after that, my laptop forcing surround through my headphones (which are old and do not support surround, they are sounding really weird now). (PS: I'm not sure if this makes any difference, but I'm using a dual input Mic/Speaker adapter to use my headphones as the laptop only has one single 3.5mm Audio jack on it)
Also, the little green light next to my webcam keeps turning on/off occasionally.
If anyone could help me with this issue or if I have done something wrong, please let me know

Lubani7 Regarding the headphones probably the method youre using might not be the appropriate one to work with these new gaming laptops not sure as i never used headphones for gaming regarding the webcam check this thread

1. Go to PC Settings and disable all apps access to webcam, allowing only those you feel you use to access webcam with.
2. Get a webcam cover.
